Five facts about LearnIT:
  1. LearnIT is based on the open source software platform, Moodle.
  2. Moodle was originally developed by Martin Dougiamas to help educators create online courses with a focus on interaction and collaborative construction of content, and is in continual evolution.
  3. Several Danish universities, incl. AAU, CBS and RUC, use it as their platform to conduct fully online courses, while some use it simply to augment face-to-face courses (known as blended learning).
  4. Use the activity modules (such as forums, assignments and quizzes) to build richly collaborative communities of learning around a subject matter.
  5. LearnIT is web-based and accessible 24/7/365
